Our Founder

MJ Vergara, Founder & CEO

VASEA was founded by MJ Vergara, Founder & CEO, based in the Philippines. MJ brings nearly two decades of experience across the BPO industry and independent freelancing, serving US clients in operations, payroll, customer service, CRM administration, social media, and recruitment.

His track record includes supporting payroll and timesheets for more than 4,000 employees, managing CRM databases, handling caregiver and client scheduling, and resolving customer and technical issues. Along the way, he sharpened the problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills every remote team member needs.

That hands-on experience supporting home care operations is why MJ started VASEA: to connect US home care agencies, including those serving Medicaid waiver programs such as SFC and CCSP, and dental offices with Filipino virtual assistants whom VASEA screens and trains. Because he has done the work himself, he knows what US teams need from their support staff.

MJ also serves as VASEA's Data Protection Officer, overseeing how VASEA protects personal data. VASEA is not affiliated with or endorsed by any state Medicaid agency or program.
